About Jillian Bishop
Hello! Jillian Bishop is a New England (US) based children’s book author and illustrator. Her background is in graphic design and marketing. Inspired by her children and the various challenges her family has faced, she has focused on helping young readers and guiding children to accept themselves as they are, as well as give them outlets for dealing with life’s more sensitive issues.
She hopes to help children process hard emotions through stories. She has self published two alphabet books; From Alpaca To Zebu as well as From Antlers To Zucchini Bread. She is currently working on a story about a young girl with sensory sensitivities. When dreaming up her books, she imagines them being read aloud by her local children’s librarian.
She lives in New Hampshire with her family.
